About SW – Swirl Diffusers
Very effective supply diffusers with a 360° throw.
Swirl diffusers are one of the most effective series of diffuser available. Generating a 360° throw on the underside of a ceiling, they achieve high-speed mixing of supplied and resident air, meaning draughts are minimised, and occupant comfort is assured.
We can supply two series of swirl diffusers, all with a 595mm x 595mm tile replacer overall size:
- SWF (fixed blade) – 254mm, 356mm, 457mm and 535mm core diameters available.
- SWA (adjustable blade) – 12, 24 and 36 slot models available.
With adjustable blade swirl diffusers, each slot conceals a black anodised aluminium blade, which can be individually adjusted to achieve the required throw.
Frequently specified with swirl boxes; a modified variant of a standard plenum with an additional mounting rail serving as both a mounting point and a connection to ductwork.
